My Thoughts: I am currently in love with this suncream. It has a high sun protection factor – 50+ to be exact and the PA is +++. If you want to learn more about suncreams, sunscreens and the likes, you can check this blog post from theklog. A very informative post, indeed! This is suncream is both physical and chemical sunscreen as per told by Etude House. Physical sunscreens (i.e., those that reflect the sunlight) or Chemical sunscreens (i.e., those that absorb the UV light) (You may also refer to this article by Wikipedia.
This suncream is one of the many variations made by Etude House. I picked this suncream because I want a multi-tasking product. As you can see on the description, this also function as a base to correct the skin tone. (Which explains the pinkish tone of the product.) For an on-the-go mom like myself, this product is very helpful. I can just slap this onto my face, add some powder and lip tint and I’m all set. The product itself is thick, has an opaque pinkish color and has a subtle floral scent to it. It’s thick but it is not tacky nor sticky when applied. My skin absorbs the product pretty well and it provides a light dewy finish when set. I love how it can neutralize the redness on my face. It also managed to brighten my face a little bit. The scent does not bother me at all though I can still smell the sunscreen-y scent to it. However, there are two huge drawbacks. To begin with, it does leave a white-cast on the skin so just make sure not to go overboard during application because it will surely make your face a lot paler than the rest. Second, this product doesn’t provide oil control so I suggest you add another product that can keep the oilies at bay like a setting powder or a mattifying primer.
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase but I’m more likely to try another suncream when I finish this one.
Thank you so much for reading my post. I hope to see you on my next one! Have a great one and take care.
